Tango at El Palacio started in the fall of 2005. This former Italian ambassador's mansion is the most elegant place to dance in DC. The grand ballroom on the second floor has high ceilings and windows all around and the balcony offering splendid views of the Malcom-X Merdian park.

7pm class - is FREE and open exclusively to beginners.
8pm class - is an intermediate class focused on the argentine style of
Tango dancing.
Practica
La Practica de Carina starts after the classes and run for at least one hour. As a courtesy, mate and biscotchos are served regularly. Sometimes the practica even takes place on the balcony!

Parking might be best on 14th st.,15th st. or Euclid. If you come via metro, get off at the Columbia Heights station on the green line, then walk south on 14th st for 4 blocks and west on Euclid for 2 blocks and you will see it 3 doors south on 15th st..
